Chad Henthorn

Chad Henthorn has been in the commercial construction industry full-time since 1999 after graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in Construction Engineering. He began his career in the Dallas, Texas area but came back to his hometown of Lubbock in 2002. Chad joined the Teinert team in 2012 as a planned Owner / Successor to the company. In Chad’s first five years, Teinert’s annual revenue increased 400%, and revenues for 2023 exceeded $189 million dollars. Chad is responsible for general oversight, planning, and operations of the company. He is specifically very involved casting the vision for the company’s future. Growth of the company for the sake of growth has never been Chad’s goal. He believes that Teinert’s growth has come from finding the most talented people to provide superior services, superior craftsmanship, and delivering an overall positive business experience.

Chad is a former President of the West Texas Chapter of Associated General Contractors and is currently a board member and the Texas Building Branch Representative for the Chapter. He is a former member of the Texas Tech University College of Civil/Environmental/Construction Engineering (CECE) Industrial Advisory Board and is a current member of the CECE Academy. Chad has also served as Chairman of the Joe Arrington Cancer Center Development Council, been a member of the Covenant Hospital Foundation Board, and is a former member of the University Medical Center underwriting committee. Chad is a member of Lubbock Executive Association, Sales Executive Association, CSI, and he has served as Chairman of Congressman Jodey Arrington’s finance committee from 2020-2023.

Daniel Horton

Daniel Horton graduated from Texas Tech University with a Construction Engineering degree in May of 2005 and has been managing commercial construction projects in West Texas ever since. Daniel has managed hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of a variety of project types including K-12 Education, Higher Education, Retail, Healthcare, Municipal, Industrial and Hospitality. Daniel joined the Teinert team in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager and was instrumental in the company’s growth both in volume and project type. He became Vice President and a partner in the firm in 2016 and currently provides general oversight of the firm as well as acting as a project executive for many of the larger projects. Daniel also provides training to younger project engineers and project managers.

Daniel is an active member of First Baptist Church Lubbock, Lubbock Executive Association, Sales Executive Association, and is a Committee Member for the South Plains Food Bank Young Professionals Group. He has volunteered with the American Diabetes Association, Texas Tech AGC Chapter, and South Plains Food Bank.

Jacob Kirkland

Jacob Kirkland is a native to west Texas and has been in the commercial construction industry since 2006. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2009 with a degree in Construction Engineering. Jacob joined the Teinert team in 2013 after spending the first part of his career with a large-scale contractor as well as serving as the Director of Construction for a major Lubbock-based hospital system. Jacob became a partner of the firm in 2016 and has been a major factor in the company’s success since bringing his ability to manage a wide variety of projects and personnel. Jacob is responsible for general oversight of all operations of the company; specifically in project management and staffing.

Jacob is a member of the Texas Tech University College of Civil/Environmental/Construction Engineering (CECE) Industrial Advisory Board and serves on the Building Board of Appeals for the City of Lubbock. He is a former past President of the West Texas Chapter of Associated General Contractors. He is a former president and board member of Lubbock Meals on Wheels.

Stacy Lambert

Stacy Lambert has been the accounting manager for Teinert Construction since 2007 and was made a company officer in 2017. She received a degree in University Studies from Western New Mexico University in 1999. Prior to working for Teinert from 1999-2007, she worked for a Certified Public Accounting firm focusing primarily on bookkeeping for multiple construction companies, corporate tax accounting and private auditing for various organizations.

Stacy has kept up with the growth of the company with her solid knowledge of accounting, as well as serving as the occasional company “Technocrat.” Her ability to quickly convert software for accounting, scheduling, estimating, and project management purposes has been vital to Teinert’s growth. She is also in charge of all other accounting and administrating staff for the entire company and is instrumental in organizing personnel benefits and other human resource issues.

Jerrod Kerr

Jerrod joined the Teinert team in 2013 with several years’ experience in residential construction. His skillset proved to translate to commercial construction very quickly as he became one of Teinert’s top producers and project managers within his first year. Jerrod effectively managed multiple construction projects simultaneously with a penchant for finishing jobs on time and within budget. In 2017, Jerrod and the team set out to open a new “North Texas” office in the Fort Worth area with Jerrod at the helm.

In Jerrod’s short tenure in North Texas, the Fort Worth Office has grown to consistently manage over $60MM worth of projects at any given time, from the Abilene area to the northeast corner of the DFW metroplex. These offices have quickly grown to 30 full-time management personnel (and counting). Jerrod has proven to be not only an excellent manager but also a key to business development in his region.
